Invention. Reinvention. Why a website and blog?

Hi, bienvenidos a mi blog!

Se me ocurrió empezar este sitio web, primero, por curiosidad. I’m voracious in my curiosity, my learning, and my reading in general. I bring a lot of energy, I love solving problems, and I’m always looking for ways to grow.

For most of my life, I’ve channeled that impulse into self-development: focusing on specific skills and habits I wanted to build, improve, or let go of, and finding discrete ways to do my work better. But despite all that effort, something surprising happened. Over the last five years, my overall sense of growth has felt… stalled. That was the problem I couldn’t ignore.

So I decided to go deeper, not by pushing harder, but by reflecting honestly and brainstorming real solutions.

I grew up multilingual, speaking English and Spanish at home and attending Spanish immersion schools from PK3 through 6th grade. Language has always been more than a subject to me, it’s the way I make meaning, connect with others, and understand the world.

In the winter of 2024, I realized that several areas of my life weren’t giving me the joy, satisfaction, or sense of accomplishment I wanted. I started noticing a pattern: I could iterate endlessly on myself through self-help and learning, but my day-to-day life wasn’t shifting in a significant way. I wasn’t getting the kind of change I was craving.

That’s when I decided I needed something different: not more information, but more intentional action. Strategic life iterations, the kind that actually reshape your daily experience.

I began by reading widely about life transformation and coaching, then started mapping out an approach for the spring based on what resonated most. My goal is simple (and big): to make this coming year a year of meaningful change, not just in what I know, but in how I live.

Welcome to the experiment. 💛
